Spain or France? (Holiday)?

I will be going away for the summer, but I'm still choosing between Spain and France! Where are some nice places to go in each and which is the best to visit? I'm looking for places with a beach as we would love to go to the seaside and just relax, rather than exploring a city like Paris. We're travelling from the UK. Thank you :)
