If Sandy Saddler and Flash Elorde fought a trilogy, who would have won in the third fight?

Great question and one I never thought about. I am certain that a third fight would have been just as exciting as the first two fights. You described the two fighting styles of each man perfectly. Saddler was somewhat of a dirty fighter and that's not a knock on him, just a fact and what helped to lead to the stoppage in their 2nd fight. When Saddler fought, there was a chance for blood to spill. Elorde is one of the greatest Asian fighters in history and held his own against the great Saddler actually outfighting him at times during their fights. So a third fight between the two would be almost a carbon copy. If Elorde can stay away from the power of Saddler and box and not get drawn into any roughhouse tactics used by Saddler, he may have quite possibly won the third fight say by split decision.
