Boxing is definitely alive and well but is Floyd Mayweathers career dying?

I think you hit the nail on the head...until someone does something about it, we should take boxing for what it is. Unless you're a hardcore or knowledgeable fan of boxing, it might appear that boxing is dying. Mayweather is committing career suicide by not only not fighting Pacquiao but by not saying anything. Instead he's fighting his wife, his dad and so on. His most recent fights have been in the court of law. C'mon man! The good thing about boxing, and any sport really, is that athletes/fighters come and go but their respective sports endure. They endure because new athletes/fighters replace them. What remains, unfortunately, is all the negativity and controversy but ironically, this is what makes any sport interesting. Pacquaio is criticized for taking on Mosley but until Floyd decides to step he'll have to do. I'm not paying to see this fight though. I'll wait for the replay on HBO. Mayweather has to realize that public interest in him will dwindle down or die out. He'd better take that fight with Manny while both are still relevant...
